Mostly concert photog, I own & very happily use 2 R6 M3 since last November.
The 2 body's are setup the same way and almost always used together.
Last week and yesterday I have experienced weird issues I can't explain, certainly because it happens at roughly the same time on both body's.
Issue 1:
Suddenly last week, the setup of my back-button focus got discarded (basic setup was AF-On = spot no tracking, "*" = tracking + eye detection).
All of sudden, both button were triggering whatever AF-mode was used last. Changing the AF-Mode would reflect on both buttons.
The issue disappeared yesterday after ~30min in yesterday's concert.
Issue came up & disappeared on both bodies, with minutes of each others
Issue 2 (appeared yesterday, also on both):
I use custom prefix for the filename (X00) (Y99), yesterday all the files, again on both bodies where name _00 & _99, the first letter replaced by an underscore (config is still X00, Y99 this morning)
I'm lost at to what are these issues caused by , and why on both bodies at the same time.
The *only* thing I can see connecting both bodies, is that I sync the time user the Canon Connect app:
- Disabling Airplane mode,
- Connect to the Canon app,
- Sync the time,
- Re-enabling airplane mode
I did not yet reset the cameras - having the same issue twice, makes me think that there is an external factor to find first
