Tony should future endeavor the entire AEW’s women’s division…just get rid of it..

It’s as clear as day that he absolutely doesn’t give 1 iota about it..

I was skeptical about this match when it was announced.. but I went into Dynamite thinking “I am going to get an unbelievable & nonsensical reason why Stat & Shida are challenging for the women’s championship despite not saying one word about going after it for weeks but it’ll be explained to me why they have a match for it”..

& I got absolutely nothing.. not a promo from Thekla, not a promo from Shida, not a promo from Hayter, hell, Stat wasn’t even in the building due to a “minor injury”.. just here’s the match & that’s it… awful..

What I did get was multiple appearances from Renee Young… like she is the most important woman in AEW.. backstage promos, pre match talking in front of the ring, & first segment of the show was an interview with her & MJF..

She was front & center the entire show.. more than any other woman.. a backstage interviewer..

That would be like Erin Andrews dominating an NFL telecast.. seeing her more than like Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, etc.. yanno the actual players..

Been 4 going on 5 months since we have even heard of Mone’s name on AEW television.. she hasn’t even wrestled a match since end of March.. when she dropped the last of her random championships.. wonder if there is something going on there..

Okay, the main women’s championship is a bust.. maybe I will get some traction on the TBS championship.. & I get a match for DON with the TBS champion in it, but it’s not on the line.. wtf? It’s an opening round match in the Owen.. wait.. Tony already did a double champ Willow & it beyond sucked.. why are we possibly running that gimmick back again? So if Willow loses, she is still champion? WTF?!? lmao..

The Tag Team Champions? Lmao.. not even worth talking about.. beyond worthless.. the only tag team(Birds) are doing everything but challenging for the tag team titles.. what’s the point of the tag team titles & division for that matter?

& the Owen.. 3 of the 8 women aren’t full time AEW wrestlers & 1 of them has a hurt neck(Saree) & is out for a month..

Harley was & still is over but is booked like a joke.. so why even care about her, Mina, etc..

Alright Midcarders, agree or disagree with me in regard to Tony shouldn’t even have a women’s division?

I think TNA will be the best spot for Big Bill..

Surely the e-mail inviting Tony Kahn, & the “Effortlessly Cool” Thekla & Mr. Aura himself Swerve Strickland & the “all time leader in Meltzer Stars” Will Ospreay to the upfronts..

The e-mail must of ended up in Tony’s spam folder & he forgot to check it cause why wouldn’t WBD not want to brag about the 884939 quintillion viewership AEW brings to HBO Max?!?

So, I watched both shows & I have zero idea on how anyone can say that AEW is more exciting than NXT..

Everyone swore that with the latest batch of call-ups(Page, Starks, Hendry to go with the Oba, Trick, Jevon call ups) that the men’s division was going to take a significant step back..

Instead we got Tony as champion, & he has a bunch of new faces coming after him:Cam Hendrix, Tavion Heights, EVIL, Will Kroos aka Mason Rook & Carver is on the outside..

AEW has Darby as champion & all he does is cheapen the championship by treating it as an open challenge.. it would feel different & possibly special .. BUT Okada & Willow are doing the same thing with their championships(seriously why is Okada defending his belt against chumps every week now), so that devalues it right away..

Plus Darby just isn’t good enough to be the top guy.. he isn’t face of the company good.. when your champion gets beat up for 80% of the match & escapes with a victory.. that isn’t good booking… plus we have seen this play ran before(Darby’s TNT reign & OC’s international reign)..

WWE had #LOLCENAWINS, well AEW has #LOLMOXLEYWINS, Mox went from tapping out at B&G & having the Death Riders turn against him(remember that fan fiction?) to now winning the C2 & beating everyone again.. & he has a championship… go away Mox, you are beyond stale..

Women’s division it isn’t even close.. NXT>AEW.. Lola is way more credible & believable than Thekla.. plus she has way more credible challengers coming up(Izzi, Kendall, Kelani, Kali Armstrong, etc etc) AEW has who challenging Thekla? Hayter again after just doing that match 2 weeks ago Yikes!!

Secondary champs: Tatum clears Willow.. Tatum had a great feud with Mariah & Izzi that established her as the best women’s babyface in all of professional wrestling.. now she has Zaria, Lizzy Rayne, Zaria, & Lyons new faces circling her.. Willow has random challengers who then disappear(Queen Aminita, Kamile, Anna Jay etc).. what has Willow done that has been memorable since beating Mone?

Plus Wren is a national treasure.. goes without saying..

Also Vanity Project are way way way way way more entertaining than FTR as champions.. & now they have their Chyna in their group.. best group in NXT..

NXT is a fun 2 hour watch every Tuesday..where it’s super interesting to see the young talent get better week in & week out..

AEW is a boring slog of every match has to be a dogfight where the champion barely escapes with a win every Wednesday night chore to get through..

Remember when Ciampa was a big deal & won the TNT championship in his first match in AEW?!

3 months later, he was one of 14 men just standing around the ring during a match that wasn’t a lumberjack match but probably should of been booked as one if you are going to have all of them bozos just milling around the ring not doing anything.. lol..

Ciampa is just another guy now & people have faith that New Day, MCMG, Kay Lee Ray & or anyone else Tony signs won’t have the same fate as Ciampa?!?

Why hasn’t there been more announced matches for a 3 hour show than the 4 that are in the 2nd pic? Maybe if people knew who would be on the card… you might sell more tickets.. & for a 3 hour show, there is absolutely zero hype for it..

It will be interesting to see how they film an 80% empty building tonight..

NXT is my absolute favorite wrestling show.. & I am glad that the group of Ethan, Starks, Fatal Influence etc all got called up, cause they were too good to be in NXT & they were blocking a bunch of young talent from getting reps & TV time that they need..

Vanity Project has no business being this damn good at their age.. plus they got their “Chyna” now… it will be fun watching them annoy Stone for the next 6-12 months..

Tatum might be the best pure female babyface in all of professional wrestling(including the main roster WWE, AEW etc).. to see her grow from her time with Ivy Nile’s group to where she is now.. incredible.. (Wren might be the 2nd best pure babyface as well)

NXT is doing the “crash out” storyline with Jaida Parker that all of the AEW fanbase swore was going to be Mone’s storyline after she dropped her many titles.. BTW, is there anyone that is actually missing seeing Mone? Lol..

Seeing all the new blood circling Tony D’s heavyweight championship & all of them being viable threats is crazy seeing how many of their top talent went to the main roster(Oba, Trick, Jevon, Saints, Ethan etc etc).. I am excited to see Cam Hendrix mix it up as I liked him on LFG..

I think we might be getting a Kelani call up to Smackdown in the next 3-4 months as I don’t see them running back her vs Vice again especially after their underground match & she isn’t going after Tatum’s championship.. kind of in no mans land..

There were a couple of tweets over the weekend that said AEW was being booted off WBD & TBS & losing their TV deal in about 12-16 months..

So instead of following up on that.. & seeing if that story has any legs to it..

We get PWI & SRS both coming out with stories that a bunch of talent(unverified of course) are being asked to take pay cuts.. which leads to everyone freaking out both online & probably in the WWE locker room & diverting the attention from the AEW losing its tv deal story..

Now I wonder who would pay for such an expensive thing..

Must be a WWE PLE week..

I think that the last time I was interested in an eliminator match was when Moxley was going against Shelton.. lol..

Logically, you would think that this will lead to Mox vs Jay White, but who knows when he will even be cleared..

Also, according to Cagematch.. Juice has only won 2 single matches since losing to MJF for the Diamond Ring way back on 10-25-2023..

But sure let’s give him a match against the Ace of the company for a possible title match down the road if Juice wins.. lol..

BTW, whatever happened to Lashley & Shelton & why aren’t they challenging for any one of the single championships(that isn’t Mox’s belt in Shelton’s case since he can’t)..

MJF is better at doing the splits for Tony Kahn’s gift basket than you & you know it..
