Currently obsessed with how this WIP is coming together using my new custom Graphite Pencil set in Procreate. I wanted a brush that could handle the sharpest details but still give me that buttery, grainy tilt-shading for the skin tones.
Still a long way to go on this Pinterest-inspired piece, but the 8B Shader is doing all the heavy lifting in those deep shadows. 🌑

I set out to draw Declan Rice using only one pencil brush and one drawing layer in Procreate, and I’m so happy with the result. There’s something about stripping away the digital tools and just focusing on the pressure of the stylus that makes the process so much more rewarding.
Every detail—from the kit patterns to the stubble—was built up just like a traditional graphite piece. ✏️

Spent the weekend working on this quick A5 portrait of Princess Leia to celebrate Star Wars Day. There’s nothing like the vibrance of Faber-Castell Pitt and Stabilo Carbothello pencils on black Pastelmat to make those colors truly glow.
I really enjoyed playing with the high-contrast red lighting against that bold yellow background. It’s not perfect, but it was a blast to create this tribute.

New WIP The King of Pop, went to see the movie its was great! 🍿

Finding the rhythm in the layers. ✍️✨

Spending a lot of time dialing in the lighting for this portrait. It’s a delicate balance of warm skin tones and those cool, reflected highlights.

Using Faber-Castell Pitt for the sharpest details and Stabilo Carbothello for the softer blends. Every layer counts when you’re trying to capture a look this iconic on Clairefontaine Pastelmat.

Progress is slow, but the light is starting to hit just right. 🕺✏️
