I am considering it, because ever since I had to start using the Oasis Driver, my DCS performance was no longer the same. I've heard great things about the Quest 3, but on paper it seems like a downgrade (less resolution). On the orher hand, I'd rather have a bit less resolution and finally no more stuttering. I just don't want to spend a lot of money on a headset to find out it's much worse.

I am sure there are many here that know both headsets, how do they compare?

I am not sure if there is something I missed, but when using the Autopilot in NAV mode and having a route programmed, the Herc tends to overfly each waypoint, only then start to turn and then getting too far off track and lose the NAV mode, switching to heading hold mode. Only in the most shallow turns the C130 is able to maintain the NAV mode and recover back onto the course.

It looks like the C130 flies most waypoints as „fly-over“ points, even though I did set CP (curved path) in the route setup page. Needless to mention, my programmed turns are not excessively tight (this issue occurs on turns as shallow as 30ish degrees). Also, on the digital map, the route has sometimes a curved profile along a waypoint, sometimes it goes straight over it.

Did I miss something?
