Im planning to have a low key playground bday for my kid turning 3 at a non Central Park Manhattan playground in early June. I applied for park permit about a week ago but I’m realizing the permit can take weeks and I’d like to send invitations before then. Is everyone getting permits to have kids casually gather at a playground with cake? Do we think it’s fine to send invites to some toddlers and hang out in a playground with bagels and cake regardless of whether permit comes through?
