My laptop’s Wi-Fi connection always stutters. Even opening YouTube gets stuck, but my main concern is when I’m playing online games because it constantly lags.

I’m planning to buy a Wi-Fi extender like the TP-Link ac1200 mesh RE305 and connect it to my laptop via Ethernet, if that’s possible. Or would it be better to use a USB Wi-Fi adapter like a TP-Link Archer adapter instead?

My main router’s Ethernet port is already occupied, and the router is located in another room from mine.

What would be the best solution in my case? Thanks in advance.
