For those of you who never get disconnected from your day trading platform (aside from known power/internet outages), what router and internet provider do you use?
I've been day trading on the Lightspeed trading platform and taking some scalps every day. About once every 8-10 days, I get disconnected from it, whether I'm in a trade or not. I've been hardwired from a ROG PC laptop into my router with an ethernet cable. My 27" iMac is plugged into the same router via ethernet but never gets disconnected while I'm in a trader Zoom chatroom. I've swapped the cables for the mac and pc, bought new cables, and even bought a new PC (Alienware Dell) but I continue to get disconnected from Lightspeed for 5 seconds to 5 minutes.
