I’m putting together the skeleton of a song to jam on. It’s in 4/4 and if I’m not counting I think it sounds in time. Buuut, when I count it, it becomes jumbled. Am I off time here or does it flow?

First row - kick / build
Second row - build with Tom’s
Third row - main intro lick
Fourth row - verse / sticking with the vibe of the intro lick with hi hat and kick.

Any advice would be appreciated.
