What should we do?

We found this little one while we were cleaning our garden today. We think we may have “evicted “ this little one by accident while clearing out the bushes.

We noticed that little one was running to a tree;however, didn’t even run away when we approached it. It looked quite weak;hence we brought it indoors to give it some food and water.

She/he is so small (compared to our pet rats), but fast. Little one is currently in a container, grooming , we gave her/him some rat dry food, water, fresh fruit &veg and soy milk (just in case little one is a baby).

We know we need to put little one back to the garden, but before we do that, we just want to make sure if little one is okay? Is little one a baby or adult mice? Should we make a shelter for little one in our garden? Thank you.
