Ever since I have got my convert, I have been hearing nothing but negative things about Shillong. Inflated placement reports/ toxic place comm/ fights / 100+ unplaced students/ companies don’t visit etc etc..
One of my first attractions for this college was that I haven’t seen much negative Pr of the campus… but lo..
I have convertible WL-9 BM at spj, probably will convert iift and mdi as well… and people tell me these are better than IIMS and IIM “tag” won’t take you far…
But isn’t the IIM tag something which inspired us to prep for cat in the first place… and now that I have it how can I (t3 BTech graduate) not value it, even if it is not the best but still one of the good ones…
SPj and mdi ko ofc people already working in the industry know but IIM brand will only grow stronger by the year..
Also current batch of sp is dumb and loud ( everyday talk about poha) and how better they are than other colleges make fun of those who leave sp for other colleges.. one word Brats

Otherwise I’ll have to go to IIMU or JAP colleges.
