Hi! I’m an incoming first year med student and I can only choose ONE gadget due to financial constraints 😭

My choices are:
MacBook Neo *(512GB)
iPad Air M3 *(256GB)

Both are almost the same price in my case, so I really need to choose wisely.

For context:
• I already have an old 2015 MacBook, but it hasn’t enough storage left and is already lagging
• I don’t own any iPad
• I’ll mainly use it for med school stuff: notes, PDFs, transes, Anki, online classes, research, multitasking, etc.

Which one do you think is more practical and useful for med school if you could only have one?

Would love to hear from med students or anyone who experienced using either/both 🙏
