As the title says, I am wondering whether it is worth sinking some precious iron into the Battleaxe or not? I have been using the Early Axes since the meadows so my axe skill is quite high at this stage in the game (I think 75-80 or so) so I would like to stick with axes if they are at least viable. Does anyone have experience comparing these two weapons? Would I need to upgrade the Battleaxe to make it noticeably better than my maxed out Early Axes?

I’m on a public server so iron can be scarce and I want to make sure it’s worthwhile before sinking my iron into it.
