I remember that you could chose or roll an animal or something and you just had to survive out in the wild with other people. These were not real animals but rather fantasy creatures. You would level up over time and get bigger and stronger. The map was pretty large with a normal forest, marsh swamp a desert, etc.

This was super fun and i would love to play it again!
