Honestly kinda embarrassed that I'm even making this post lol but I just moved to Sydney from the US about 2 months ago and I'm finding it kinda hard to socialize. It seems like everyone already has their own group and no one, especially people at usyd, is interested in hanging out in a third place or go to parties or get drinks or just walk around or whatever.

I've also been doing jiu jitsu for about a month just to keep myself sane but it's kinda hard to make friends there as well.
Feel free to dm me if you wanna talk or hang out, I'm genuinely down for anything!

I'm a postgrad student at USyd who moved from the US about 2 months ago and while I think the city is really beautiful, I'm finding it hard to socialize and make friends here, especially at uni. It seems like everyone already has a closed circle and aren't really looking for new friends lol.
I've tried joining clubs and societies but it's kinda hard to be a regular there because of the insane amount of workload I have as well. I've also started going to a gym near where I'm staying rn which has help me keep my sanity, I'm also relearning how to play the guitar and trying to get back into origami.
I'm honestly just looking for people to chill and have a drink with, feel free to reach out and dm me!

I'm a 23 year old postgrad student who moved from the US about 2 months ago and idk if it's just me but I'm finding it kinda hard to socialize and make genuine connections here at usyd. I've tried joining societies and shown up to a few events but I couldn't be a regular because of the insane amount of workload.
Honestly just wanna have someone I can have a drink with after uni lol.

Anyone else feel the same way? Feel free to dm me!
