College flight program or a Part 61 flight school?

Hello everyone, I am looking for some advice on my future. I graduated in the fall of 2025 with my associates at a community college; at first when I started I had no idea what I wanted to do with the rest of my life, but then I found out I love flying and I would love to do it as a career. The beginning of this year I have decided to start flying at a part 61 flight school, and have done lessons here and there. I then started to look around locally for any colleges that offer flight programs, since I am in a great situation to be able to transfer over and go all out into flight training. What I’m really asking is if the college flight program is worth doing than the part 61 flight school. I live in a small town and would love to get away and meet new people to network with but yet the cost is holding me back. I just would like to know your guys thoughts! Anything helps! Thanks!!
