Pictures are of the 4k UHD bluray disc of the movie "28 Years Later" played with a Panasonic DP-UB820 on the Sony Bravia 8ii with Dolby Vision and brightness set to 35.
Someone in my last post asked for a picture of an N64 controller next to this 5" CRT to see how big it is, so I added more than just N64 controllers for comparison.
I find that when the subtitle luminance is set to "Original" that the picture gets washed and the subtitles detract from things around them because theyre too bright. You can change this luminance on the UB820 but I keep having to do this for every disc I put in or everytime I restart the player. Is there a way to permanently toggle this setting to say -10?
Pictures are of my 65" Sony Bravia 8ii in Dolby Vision Bright playing Arcane Season 1 4k bluray disc with the brightness set at 35.
It only has a 5" viewable screen, meaning in 4-player mode, each player only gets a 2.5 inch viewable square to look at. From a normal sitting distance, I can see this making for an interesting night of Goldeneye or Halo or something
