Palatsi Convenience Coffee Shop -- Aurora -- an authentic spot in the old part of the city, with high ceilings and canal-side windows.
Saltim café & tal — Boa Viagem — a cozy, calm spot with specialty coffee drinks, brunch and breakfast options; there are convenient tables near outlets and a comfy corner sofa area for working (I loved the kimchi sandwich)
Sotó Pan y Café — Pina / Boa Viagem — amazing pastries, French and Brazilian cuisine; a very cozy place to work
Harina Café — Boa Viagem (plus 3 more locations) — a spacious, women-owned café; delicious croissants and sandwiches; one of the best places in the city for remote work with fast Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets
Casa Mendez Café — Jaqueira — a pleasant space with separate, more private areas
Borsoi Café — Boa Viagem — a cozy and refined spot with great coffee and pastries; one of the tastiest breakfasts in Zona Sul; nice place, but not very work-friendly
