I've read through the camera's manual and it considers error E:92:xx an issue with the power source (in this case batteries). I first tried using standard alkaline AA batteries, then a 3.7v lithium-ion battery(not info lithium), and finally a dummy battery with supplied volatges starting at 3.4v and going to 5.2v in increments of 0.1v. Unfortunately, the error still remained. There doesn't seem to be much documentation of this issue for the Sony dsc-p50 online, so I'm asking here in case anyone knows a solution. Thanks.
