What New Who episode feels the most like Classic Who?

I'd say Eaters of the Light personally.

There's something about the atmosphere of that episode. It's quiet, takes place mostly in empty British moorland. You've got some old folklore, there's nothing particularly high budget about it. You've got your classic get captured, misunderstanding, and escape through silly popcorn trick.

All it needs is to be a two parter, the length of a classic four parter. and there'd be plenty of room to add more misunderstandings, a few more capture and escapes, and more moments of just sitting and having a chat.

It gives me real Stones of Blood or the Daemons vibes. It's appropriate since the writer also wrote the Classic Who episode Survival way back when.

There's no mention of him in Legend of Korra, but a 112 year old that still manages to be freaking ripped and leaping around like a younger man is not a man who shows any signs of dying any time soon.

His joints did creak a bit when he was getting ready to fight Aang so it's clear he's not just inexplicably immune to the effects of aging, but I'd assume he's got a body more typical of a healthy guy in his 60s.

Obviously we know of other characters that lived unnaturally long. Guru Pathik was apparently around 150 and seemed sharp enough, and Avatar Kyoshi lived past 200.

But I imagine if Bumi was still around by the time of Korra he would've showed up in some capacity. Perhaps he followed Iroh into the Spirit World.

I like to think he died around the same time as Aang, sticking around mainly so Aang had some connection to the past he had left behind.

This would make him around 166 when he died.
