Scrapped it with a metal bar key and a little of the rock appeared to have scraped off.
The area is rich with limestone so I'm thinking it's that, but I'm a wine guy and not a rock guy so I'll trust you all to ID it. Wanting to get a good ID as my wife has gotten into rock tumbling.
