I was going to submit a request for all my C&P exam BDQs but I saw on the form that they charge money after 100 copies. Has anyone submitted a FOIA request and actually had to pay? With the amount of BSQs I have in my file, and the length that each one is, I'm certain that will be well over 100 pages. I'm just trying to see if it would be worth the money or not, or if that's one of those things that's written but doesn't get enforced. I'm still new to the VA processes so I don't know what I'm getting myself into with this.

I submitted a BDD claim a few months ago and had all my appointments several weeks ago. The C&P exams for physical health all went exactly as I expected. The mental health one was nothing like I expected. I claimed anxiety, insomnia, and depression because those conditions are well documented in my medical records for years. I expected the examiner to ask questions to gauge how everything impacts my daily life, but he didn't. He said he was given a "generic checklist" and he asked questions to determine if I had PTSD or not, and he asked practically nothing about how anything impacts my life. How is the VA going to assess and rate the condition when the C&P didn't go into how it impacts my daily life?
Is the VA going to use the results of all the surveys I've taken at every mental health appointment I've been to where I answer questions like "how many days during the last 2 weeks have you felt down, depressed" etc?
