Garlic smell/taste in water bottle
I have a 64 oz water bottle and for some reason no matter what I do to clean it it keeps coming back. I gave up on it like a yr ago but recently wanted to try and fix it again since I like having a large water bottle at my desk. I have soaked it in vinegar, cleaned it with soap, even used bleach on it. Within 24 hrs it starts to develop this garlic smell and taste. I only put water in the bottle. It's a chug spout bottle so theres no straw to hide bacteria from me in. Has anyone else had this issue with a water bottle or something else before ? It drives me insane since I can't get past the taste/smell at all and can't use it. My next idea was to use everclear to clean it since that's the only other thing I can think of.
Edit: the bottle is the 64 oz mountain rim stainless steel bottle
