I'm trying to root my new phone, but I've been unable to enable OEM unlocking. I tried following a post from this website: https://www.mobitrix.com/android-support/enable-oem-unlock-via-adb-samsung.html#h2-4 but it only takes me into download mode, and I'm unable to enable OEM unlocking through my computer because it doesn't detect my device anymore.

I'm pretty sure this happened with my previous phone, a Samsung Galaxy A50. Are Samsung phones unrootable, or am I doing something wrong?

Any support would be greatly appreciated!

I've been using Linux Mint for a short period of time, so forgive me if I'm pretty clueless about a lot of things.

I'm trying to download Waydroid android emulator. I've installed everything correctly, but my problem is I don't have Wayland. I'm unable to install Wayland because I don't have the /etc/gdm3/custom.conf file, or a gdm3 folder on my system. I looked up a tutorial on how to run Waydroid without Wayland, but as I've been running it, I've been unable to install any apps on it, and it's very buggy.

Can Waydroid run on Linux Mint? Is there any way to install Wayland? For reference, I'm running Linux Mint 22.3 XFCE 64-bit, with 6.17.0-23-generic kernel.

Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!
