After a long, tiring day at work, I felt like playing Dead by Daylight for at least half an hour (which is what I usually play), and I was shocked to find out I was permanently banned for exploits or cheating.
What did I do?? I have no idea. I didn't even know you could exploit the game, since I've only been playing for about three months. I barely know how to play; whenever I use a generator, I practically pray it doesn't explode. I can barely loop. Yesterday, I was incredibly proud when, by sheer luck, I managed to avoid getting hit by the two killers in a 2v8 match because of a measly 360 attempt.
So, as someone who's just learning to play and doesn't play much because of work, I was extremely surprised to see I was permanently banned. I tried to appeal, but they didn't give me a reason.
I'm so sad. I've spent at least $70, which maybe isn't much, but it is for me.
I don't know what to do. I always try to play as fairly as possible so as not to bother anyone, I try to be as nice as I can and help as much as I can (even though I often feel humiliated by how badly I play). Does anyone know how I could fix this? I'm desperate. DBD was the only game I played, and now I feel so disappointed by this.
