After some deliberation and research, I’ve come to the same conclusion as many others that I need to at least reduce the plastics in my life if not get rid of them completely.
The issue I have is what to do with the plastics I currently own.
From my understanding the plastic recycling industry is at large a scam and most recycled plastic ends up in landfill or the ocean regardless.
Donating items just perpetuates the problem and passes it on to someone else.
But keeping things changes nothing for me and my environment.
So my question is, what are some positive and non harmful ways that I can reduce the plastics in my currently own?
