Need advice
I will try to make this short and to the point.
I have been dreaming about a traditional cedar sauna for decades. I was gonna put one in last year, but there was a lot of electrical that needed to be done so I put it off to the summer.
Now I am hearing that it is contraindicated to have a traditional sauna with the extreme heat and moisture for someone that is diagnosed with Pre-capillary Pulmonary Hypertension.
Over the years, the research has tended to change and now there’s some support that saunas are very helpful with this disease process.
So this is my question: if I was to put 120 V electric heater in the cedar sauna, still having the rocks and still having the ability to drizzle water on it, will it lower the temperatures? Will I have the ability to regulate the temperature?
8 foot or 10 foot barrel sauna. This is not a debate about the barrel sauna I’ve already read a bazillion of those debates. I definitely would be open to a cube sauna. I do not want a small tiny sauna that I cannot lay down in. If I’m gonna put down money, I want it to at least be comfortable for me. I don’t wanna just sit up. I could get one of those tent, saunas and sit up on a stool. I want to lay down on a bench and be able to stretch out.
The other thing is so I can stop having to deal with the issue of running 220 for about 60 feet, is there a 120 option that would meet my needs?
Thanks so much for any input you can offer.
Can any of you think of solutions?
