Acceptance for me was not about accepting that my husband died. I knew he died. My issues with acceptance was answering the WHY. WHY did this happen to him...to us? What did we do wrong? Were we bad people?

Unfortunately, we never get an answer to those questions and just have to accept that we'll never know. And, that's really hard.
