Does this look like mold?

For context, single story home. The roof shingles were not overhanging sufficiently and water was going into the fascia board which rotted away.

I have a contractor repairing this, and just looked into the eave where these photos are from. The rafter ends have what looks like a black splatter on them. It scrapes off easily. No smell. To me it actually looks more like dirt or mud than anything else, but since moisture has gotten in there, I’m considering whether it could be mold. Any thoughts?

Note that it’s only on the rafter ends, not on the roof decking or the backside of the tongue and groove eaves, which makes me think it’s less likely mold.

Note that one picture shows obviously rotten wood which is currently being removed / replaced.

I have an ER302v2, multiple EAP access points and an OC200 controller in my house. My system has been flawlessly working for a long time.

Recently my canon wireless printer wouldn't connect - kept giving me a security error. Couldn't figure it out, but while troubleshooting I changed my wifi password to something simpler, just to make it easier to troubleshoot.

In doing so, my reolink doorbell cam lost its connection. I eventually returned to the original wifi password.

I got the printer connected again by disabling Band Steering. I wasn't even sure I'd enabled that, but it was the one setting change that seemed to allow it to reconnect.

But when I try and reconnect the Reolink camera, I can't get it to work. It's wifi, and it has this janky setup process where you put in the network SSID and password on the phone app, it creates a QR code, the camera scans the QR code then tries to connect. I'm just getting repeated "router connection failed" notifications from the camera.

Really not sure what's going on. Everything else on the network seems to be working normally. Nothing has changed with regards to hardware. I just can't get the damn thing reconnected, and it's really frustrating. And this was BEFORE I changed the band steering function (doesn't work after I changed it either). Appreciate any tips!
