Hi,
I have a 8 year old daughter that is struggling severely with her behavior at school although academically she is ok. I get calls and reports everyday that she wont sit still, screams in class, is distracted, doesn't follow directions, ect. We currently have her in therapy and after school activities to keep her busy. I recently went to a behavior specialist that prescribed her low dosage Adderall and a 504 plan. My family including my husband are against it as they are stuck on the fact that it's a controlled substance and I'm stuck in the middle. I don't know if i'm making the right move for my daughter. I feel she is not reaching her full potential. I have tried everything.
