Am I providing my kitten with enough opportunities to play?

There is another cat in the home (not a kitten, a few years old and they do love to wrestle). Generally our schedule is:

Wake up, feed breakfast

Play intermittently while getting ready for work (throwing a ball, turning on a chaser toy)

Then we are gone at work for 8-9 hours. I think the cats nap for a good amount of the time, but they also have access to a climbing tower (never seen them use it), floor length windows/ledges to look outside, toys, and obviously each other.

We come home and are home for 5-7 hours before going to bed, during this time we might run to the gym or somewhere for any hour at most. When we’re home we’ll let them outside in their catio for ~30-45 min. At some point we give treats and practice tricks for a few minutes. Then we play with them for 10 min here and there through the evening (they do seem to get bored easily with toys so we try to rotate).

I want to make sure the kitten especially is stimulated enough and has plenty of chances to burn off energy. Any recommended adjustments to our schedule or better yet, toy recommendations for smart kitties who get bored easily with the ones we have?

If anyone has a cat that looked like our kitten, I’d love to see what they look like now! He’s about 6-8 months old.
