Hello! So I purchased this Gazebo off Wayfair 2 years ago. Sanded and stained it this natural cedar color 2 years ago after assembling. So yesterday I went out to re-apply a Ready Seal Natural Cedar Stain/Sealer combo to try and protect from the AZ sun. Before staining I wiped down all the wood with water and a cloth to clean it from dust and gunk. I noticed on this one pillar a lot of the stain just came right off.
Now that I am re-staining it, the pillar still looks like what you see in the picture. The stain won’t really absorb into the wood at all and is very streaky. Any thoughts?
