Job loss with 18b Abs.1
Hello everyone,
I lost my job recently (end of March) & I hold a 18b Abs. 1 residence permit tied with my job. I have notified immediately to Immigration office as soon as I got to know about the termination & as suggested on their website submitted the necessary documents like proof of funds (at least €5,166 via bank statement), health insurance, company letter with exit date, passport copy, and residence permit copy based on which they would issue a job seeker visa. I have no response from them till now & I'm already nearing the 3 month without job period (end of June). My additional worry is that I have a planned journey to India between mid of June & mid of July. Will I be allowed to reenter in this status if I don't hear back from immigration authority till then? I would have crossed the 3month period if I return in July.
Note that I have a confirmation of the submission of my query to immigration office & I'm receiving ALG1 benefits from BAA.
I'm looking for suggestions or experiences from the community who have knowledge regarding this scenario. Thanks in advance!
