found this site called nycfanbase that matches you to a bar in nyc where fans of your country are watching the world cup. so instead of ending up at some random sports bar you’re actually with people rooting for the same team as you. they also got a chat where you can connect with fans of your country, coordinate where you’re watching, and all that kinda stuff. Heard they need more signups so bars will officially partner with them, they just need the numbers. Way too good not to share. (btw it’s free and takes like 30 seconds).
