Is tinkercad just really bad with a touch pad? Using my Mac on it and it is pretty hard to move around. Wondering if I’m doing something wrong or if this is normal

Hey guys, I’m currently in college and I have an assignment for a final project. I need to build a bridge in tinkercad. Completely new to this software and would love tips on how to get it done! Started playing around with it today but found it pretty confusing.
