Planted this fireglow last fall-ish and the leaf out this year is leaving nearly all the internal branches bare. not sure I'd call it die back yet, as the branches are not brittle, just no indication that they are going to produce leaves. Gets dappled sun all day,maybe 1-2 hours of direct exposure. Any thoughts on why this might be happening?
