


I love to judge a book by its cover, so it bugged me that the CrossInk’s UI options barely show them. So I forked CrossInk and added a new "Flow" theme built around covers. Inspired by CrossPoint Flow.
The three screens I changed:
Home page gets an iPod-style perspective carousel. Your current book is front and center, flanked by the rest of your recent reads fanned out on either side.
Recent Books is now a 3x3 cover grid instead of a flat title list. Covers are cached after the first load so it stays snappy.
Reading Stats lets you browse book-by-book with the cover up top. Peek covers at the edges show what's next.
Everything else from CrossInk is untouched. Firmware + source at the link below. Only tested on X4, not X3.
Feel free to comment/dm with any feedback. Just a personal fork for my own needs, so updates might be infrequent, but future X3 compatibility is planned.
