Right before and after >!the continent of Mu!<reveal, they really change the dialogue for most of the npcs around the entire world, including the Hertz. And y'know what, I just have to really respect that. Without the Legacy Collection QoLs it woulda driven me crazy checking for it so it's kind of amazing they even put something like that in.
