PSA - No Chance Me or Reverse Chance Me Posts
There is a rise in “Why was I rejected?” posts that list stats, income, assets, and ECs. These fall under our no chance‑me / no reverse chance-me rule.
We understand that CPS decisions can be confusing and disappointing. It’s normal to want clarity. But no one on Reddit can tell you why you will be (or you were not) selected.
QuestBridge evaluates applicants holistically, and financial background is only one part of a much larger picture. Posting your numbers won’t give you closure, and it often leads to unhelpful comparisons that stress everyone out.
If you’re trying to figure out whether applying for NCM makes sense, please:
- Refer to QuestBridge webpage: https://www.questbridge.org/apply-to-college/programs/national-college-match/apply
- Use each college’s Net Price Calculator to accurately estimate affordability
- Look at past applicant profiles to get a sense of the wide range of backgrounds represented in the program (QuestBridge Applicant Profiles - Class of 2025, Match Day 2024 Results, Questbridge 2023 Match Results)
