5 months since my hair transplant now.

Honestly, people weren’t joking when they said this whole thing is more mental than physical.

Month 1–2 was shit. Redness, shedding, weird phases, checking the mirror every day thinking “what have I done?” You basically pay to look worse before it starts getting better.

Month 3 was the first time I started seeing small signs. Tiny hairs coming through, hairline slowly taking shape.

Month 4 people around me started noticing it without me mentioning it first:
“Your hair is growing back fast now.”

Month 5 feels different though. Not just the hair itself, but mentally too. I don’t wear caps automatically anymore and I’ve stopped avoiding mirrors all the time.

What I’ve done during these months:
- Minoxidil every day
- Finasteride at night
- Massaging the scalp properly
- Staying consistent even when it felt pointless

That’s probably the hardest part honestly. There’s a long period where it feels like absolutely nothing is happening.

Biggest lesson so far:
Results come from consistency, not motivation. Motivation disappears fast. Routine is what carries you through.

Still a long way to go and I know the real results usually come around 6–12 months, but seeing the difference month by month already feels pretty crazy.

For anyone in month 1, 2 or 3 stressing out:
Take photos. Trust the process. Don’t panic too early.

When did you guys notice the biggest jump in density/results?
