Finally got my minds eye version of Shadowcat for my Marvel Legends display. Also repainted the hair on Phoenix to make it a little more closer to the custom Jean I have, not too far off in red hair
I showed my Phoenix Custom a while ago but with the new Jean Grey custom I wanted to showcase the evolution of a character. The Phoenix is the brand new body they released as a Target Exclusive with the head from Rachel Summers and a hair transplant with She Hulk I painted Red. Originally I was gonna use the hair for Mary Jane but I feel like the long, almost flame like curls work best for Jean Grey as the Phoenix. The new Jean Grey is a custom body I ended up buying from a custom painter on Mercari since I’m not that gifted when it comes to painting full figures, it’s on the articulated female body, but the headsculpt is using the ‘97 Jean headsculpt and the hair is from X-Factor Jean Grey. The work in progress is Kitty Pryde, I did a hair transplant with Gamerverse Black Cat since Black Cat had the hair bangs that I usually associate with Kitty (X-Men: Evolution is my mind’s eye favorite design for her) I just need to paint the hair brown but haven’t had the time to buy a brown acrylic marker or paint the figure.
