Hey everyone, my MK5’s right mirror is stuck in the folded/closed position and the toggle switch isn’t responding at all. Already tried:

•	Locking/unlocking with the fob to reset

•	Gently trying to push it out by hand

Haven’t checked the cabin fuse box yet — that’s my next step. But wondering if anyone else has run into this and what ended up being the fix. Is it likely the mirror motor, the switch, or something with the BCM? Dreading a dealer visit if it’s something I can fix myself.

Any advice appreciated!

Anyone else in denial here (via Kirk Kreifels on YouTube) with emissions standards getting stricter and Toyota trying to have a fully hybrid fleet by 2040, I’m thinking based off R&D, rising costs and the era of modern sports cars becoming just as much electric as they are petrol, everyone can say what they will but a BMW Mk 5 might be more Supra than whatever is going on w this full Toyota Mk 6 news… at least it looks like a Mk4/Mk5 had a baby I guess
