So I have a sideblog that has been around for about two weeks, and I did a test with Xkit Rewritten on trimming a reblog with an ask in it. It warned me that doing this would break it on the theme that I use for it (that being "Digital Pets!"), and I went ahead and tested it to see what it would look like. It did indeed break, as the reblogs appear in the response bubble instead of just erasing it entirely.
I searched for a bit if there was any way to fix it if it broke, and found out about the whole Legacy and Beta Editor thing, which I didn't know existed until now. So my only guess is that the theme uses the former, but I'm not sure if that's even correct. I didn't attempt to look into the code because, well, I don't know anything about coding, let alone with Tumblr themes.
IS there a way to change it so that it doesn't do that? I don't wanna do the old "make a new post" thing cause of the possibly that a blog deactivates, which would mean a part of the context of the rp would be gone forever, if that makes any sense.
I will see if I can make a comment showing some comparisons, for just in case some confusion needs to be cleared up.
