Sony WH-1000XM6 EQ - Analog Cable
Hey, so there is only one EQ available for the XM6 over analog and to my ears on my set up (Peace APO) it doesn't sound accurate enough. I'm using the EQ supplied by Super Review with the headphones on with ANC and I wonder if anyone else has the same thoughts or if it might be my unit or other variables.
I'm only a novice but I'd love to use the oratory1990 preset and get as close to the Harman target as I can. Analog alters the sound but I need the low latency. Is there anything I can do? Many thanks! I'm grateful for your many EQ's.
Edit: I assumed wrong that the Super Review analog cable preset was for ANC on but have just now read that the preset is only for powered off playback. So that's why it sounds off. Rtings detail approximately how analog with power and power off differ but I can't access that and even if I did, is it really doable to try and compensate? I'd still be using his original EQ as a base. I'm not sure what to do! I've been spoiled by oratory's EQ's for other headphones otherwise!
