Both Simmons and Lowe mentioned having Scottie on third team all-NBA until Luka and Cade were allowed back on.
Which honestly is fair enough. But thought it was interesting.
Also both Simmons and Lowe mentioned something I've always thought myself, that the one thing keeping Scottie from being the best player on a top team is not necessary the total individual scoring, but the one go to move that lets you score consistently.
Lowe also talked about Scottie's real strength being the bully ball but also it not being something he has generally done consistently enough.
I've always thought as opposed to the three, the move Scottie really needs is that back down turnaround baseline dribble that Kawhi had in Toronto. Everyone would make a bit of space for him, he'd use his terrific strength and take it and make it frequently, especially when nothing else worked. Scottie has a decent touch from around there as well.
Also both spoke positively about CMB. Most of the discussion was unsurprisingly based on the Cavs which given expectations between the two teams is what you could expect. One is a wildly expensive team that is supposed to be a contender.
