Good brand for contact/retention tanks?
Last year we bought our house which has an underground cistern for the water supply, so I'm fairly new to water treatment/non-city water hookups.
The pump pulls from the cistern, then goes to an expansion tank, chlorine injector, then a 120 gallon contact tank before going out to the rest of the house. The tank looks galvanized, and original to the house so about ~30 years old. Recently a slow drip has developed from the tank so I'm looking to replace it.
I work in the trades for a living and have done hundreds of hot water tanks and boilers, so I'm no stranger to plumbing work but I'm new to this type of equipment. It looks like everything now is woven fiber tanks? What is the best option for tanks? Does it not really matter that much? All I know is the current one is 120 gallon, 75 psi rated. As long as I find another one with those specs it should be fine right?
