Basically make a live action movie with some special effects loosely based on the games. The movie has a catalog of up to Dreamland 3 to take stuff from.
Now, a real and more faithful movie would be better. But in order for there to be good we have to acknowledge the bad. At least the human casting for Mario and Luigi made sense because they were humans. So characters that aren't human being translated to human form... I want to see how that would be done (the cheesier the better)
The last I really interacted with CU as literature was when the final book came out when I was about 12. In animation it was the movie. So we have a manga now? If that's the case, sick.
