PUBG x Harley-Davidson Collab Looks Awesome… But the Bike Sounds Like Absolute Poop on a stick (Where’s the V-Twin Roar?)
Just hopped on the new update and heard the CVO Road Glide ST from the Harley collab (PC drop was today).
Visually? It’s clean. The bike looks proper mean, custom colors and everything. Marketing even hyped “unleash the roar” and “signature sound.”
Then I actually heard it.
Bro… it sounds like a lawnmower with asthma. Zero of that deep, guttural, potato-potato V-Twin rumble that makes Harleys legendary. It’s just some generic, tinny motorcycle noise you could’ve pulled from any asset pack. For a brand whose entire identity is built on that engine sound, this feels like they licensed the logo and forgot to license the actual soul of the bike.
Harley fans are insane about the sound for a reason. This collab had one job — nail the audio — and they whiffed it hard. The rollout looks great on paper and in the trailer, but in-game it’s a massive missed opportunity.
Anyone else riding around disappointed by the audio, or am I just a cranky V-Twin snob? Would actually pay extra if they patched in real Harley exhaust samples.
