Greetings my fellow Basters, I need your guys help in filling me in on what the state this game is in currently, and how BP is doing. I stopped playing Rivals back in season 6.5, since I genuinely had enough of the game (poke meta triple supp slop) and was busy with uni. But I saw and heard how season 7 and 7.5 have had big changes, that of BP’s kick buff and the Ult nerf. So firstly, how is BP doing rn? In this sub it seems quite mixed in terms of how he still suffers from the same survivability issues but the kick change helps a lot in terms of combos/escapes etc. I really wish they made his dash 8 seconds again but oh well. Also what’s the meta rn, and how has white fox and black cat changed the way you play BP, I’ve heard fox is really hard to dive, so what adjustments have yall made. Also what’s the best way to 1v1 both white fox and black cat (like baiting CDs, how to engage, what to look for etc). Also since I’m tryna get back into the game I’ve scrolled on the other rivals subs and seen quite a lot of people COMPLAINING about BP like are you fr? Seems like a lot of people want him gutted yet once again I can’t believe it, I’m assuming the Ult nerf exposed a LOT of support players as Ult merchants, so I get why, but honestly I’m not even surprised.

Ok so I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with Daredevil since I’ve seen so many posts of him on different subs ( main rivals sub, rivals, support subs etc) that people are still crying about him and want him to be gutted. I actually can’t believe this is still happening especially after he’s gotten 5 consecutive nerfs. Now I used to be a Black Panther main but we all know how the rivals ‘community’ got him gutted. As soon as DD came I picked him up, loved him and he’s been my main since. I stopped playing around season 6.5 since i genuinely had enough of the game (poke meta, triple supp slop) and was busy with uni, so I’ve missed quite some time. I’ve heard how people said ‘dive is back’ and how it’s OP etc in season 7 and 7.5, and I’m assuming this is because a LOT of supports got exposed for being bad at the game since they cant Ult spam (who’s surprised). Now can my fellow DD mains tell me what’s going on, is this the BP situation all over again to which the support community will keep crying until DD is gutted and unplayable, heck maybe even turned into an Ironfist (tank buster pillow fist). I genuinely can’t believe people still want more nerfs when Gambit, Elsa, Phoenix, Invis, Psylocke etc, are all still strong A-S tier heros, heck even Black Cat I’ve heard is broken. What do you guys think? I was planning on playing the game again but really don’t want DD to get nerfed again he was already quite difficult to play in low celestial games, or what nerfs do you think are appropriate in which he won’t be gutted but still strong.

P.S as I said I haven’t played the game in over 2 months, and haven’t been as up to date with the games current state etc, but I have been scrolling around rivals subs and other social media etc to catch up with the current state, so if there’s anything else I need to know please Lmk thank you
