DIY options for unfinished section hidden under removed shoe molding
I just restored the millwork in this room — baseboards, doorframes, window frames, and doors. Oof but it looks amazing. I am at a loss for how to manage the fact that the shoe molding that I removed from the baseboards was hiding a 1” unfinished section of the floors. Can I sand and shellac on my own to make it look closer to the floors? Given personal circumstances, I’m looking for the quickest and least expensive diy option.
