My son’s school had sign up’s for a 5K a couple months ago, and my son REALLY wanted to do it. BUT he had to have an adult run with him. Naturally… I was volun-told to do it with him. After those 2 months were up, I realized, I had not trained ONE bit. He, however, went to practice after school 2 times a week. He pushed me outside my comfort zone and I feel all sorts of pride for him today. This post is an AMA, but I also wanna boast about how proud of my son I am. Him and I ran this 5K, and he stayed by my side the entire time. When I stopped to breathe, he was walking with me. When I started to run a bit faster than I thought, he kept up. It was a fun experience and he had a lot of fun too. If I could share the photo, I would. I’m proud of him today.
